Easily attaches to a vertical board on the hive structure, to the roof frame, or to any other part of the hive. vertical support 24 to 25 mm thick.

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

Easy to 3D print - Flat

This model is designed for can be easily printed on any standard FDM printer. Compatible with PETG, ABS or ASA, with a preference for PETG to ensure maximum durability and rigidity for beekeeping use.

Printing tips :

For a 0.6 mm nozzle :

Layer height: 0.30~ mm
Filling: 100 % for maximum strength - withstands the weight of heavy frames without bending or breaking

For a 0.4 mm nozzle :

Layer height: ~0.20mm
Filling: 100 % for maximum rigidity

Other recommendations:

Supports: minimal; it is generally possible to print flat without supports
Tray adhesion: if necessary, use an adhesive (sugar, glue, spray, etc.) or PEI for best results.
Filament: Apple-green PETG used for the validated end products shown in the photos.
