Description
3D printable one-piece bird feeder
Minimalist and multi-functional, the ApiObi feeder can be easily suspended from a tree trunk using a rope.
It can also be attached to the outside of a window or shutter using transparent double-sided adhesive tape.
Why design a feeder?
There are already a number of templates available for download or purchase, but I wanted to increase the number of feeding points around my house to avoid concentrate all birds in one place (presence of cats, birds of prey, risk of disease transmission, etc.).
The aim was to create a all-in-one feeder, 3D printable, one-part ‘print in place’, easy to attach and quick to print.
And, of course, from my studio, I can watch chickadees, finches, robins... and sometimes even a small group of goldfinches!
No glue, no screws: just one part to print!
Mission accomplished.

Technical Tips for 3D Printing
- Orientation: flat printing, roof perpendicular to the tabletop
- Supports: yes, necessary
- Recommended material : PETG (ideal for outdoor accessories)
- Nozzle : 0.6 mm recommended
- Layer height : 0.3 mm
- The model is optimized for this configuration, but a 0.4 mm nozzle is perfectly suitable (slightly longer printing).
