Description

20 mm diameter «Y» hose barb for connecting 3/4" (20 mm) ID flexible hoses.
Perfectly suited to gardening, ponds, watering systems and water systems for motorhomes, caravans, vans, etc.

The fitting has been completely redesigned for 3D printing.
The walls are at least 1.8 mm thick, allowing the use of a 0.6 mm nozzle and the minimum 3 coats required to prevent leakage.
The models photographed were printed in PETG, with a 0.6 mm nozzle and 0.20 mm quality. It's excellent quality and, above all, functional!
A 0.4 mm nozzle is also perfect for printing this fitting.
This fitting is not suitable for high-pressure applications.

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

PETG preferred, ABS or ASA
Type of adhesion: border, min. 5 mm if printing vertically (recommended, see photo)
Filling: 100 %, a must.

Advice:
If you plan to print accessories that come into contact with foodstuffs, don't use conventional filaments. Invest in a technical filament “FDA compliant for food contact”, not much more expensive but absolutely essential.
