Technical Tips for 3D Printing

🛠 How to create a string of a specific length with Cura

Let's take the example of the 3-link segment.

1. Load the 3-segment `.stl` file into Cura.
2. Duplicate it once (×1).
3. If the segment is positioned in the center of the platen, move the copy along the X axis by 48 mm (3 × 16 mm).

The result is a 6-link segment, ready to print! 🎉

📌 Printing tips

Orientation: flat printing for optimum results.

Filament : PLA recommended for ease of use; PETG or ABS for greater strength.

Infill: from 10-20 % to 100% depending on use.

Supports: useless.
