Technical Tips for 3D Printing

The models shown in the photos (deliberately enlarged to highlight the 3D printing details) were printed in apple green and black PETG, with a 0.6 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm layer height.
Even with this configuration, the result is excellent quality.

For an even more impressive finish, the use of a 0.4 mm nozzle produces links that look and feel very similar to commercially available acrylic chains.

Depending on the intended use of your chain, you can also experiment with PLA, ABS or other materials - it's up to you to choose the one that best suits your needs.
