Description

Suction strainer with stepped ribbed connection (3-stage multi-step) made of a single piece with no screw threads, neither glued nor welded, for added strength and resistance.
Ideal, economical solution to the problem of matching diameters between the strainer and your various suction pipes.

  • Floor diameters : suitable for 19mm, 25mm and 32mm, compatible with Oase pond pipes.
  • Total length : 145 mm
  • Mesh holes : 3 mm
  • Mesh thickness : 2.4mm
  • Clamp mounting
  • Recommended use of strainer
Although you can use the strainer as is, it's best to cut it to fit the diameter of the pipe. Advantage: you gain in suction, disadvantage: you lose the benefit of its versatility. The choice is yours!

A filter strainer with an innovative design, exclusive to ApiObi:

  • Print-in-place single-part structure‘
  • Design for 3D printing = without support (which would be impossible to remove from the inside)
  • a strainer with a stepped connection must be cut to the diameter of the pipe used. If it's bought off the shelf and cut to size, it loses the benefit of modularity. Thanks to 3D printing, you can print the ApiObi model as many times as you need!

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

Preferably printed in PETG, durable, lightweight and highly resistant, particularly suitable for accessories and tools in contact with liquids, both indoors and out.
The strainer shown in the photos was printed in PETG, with a 0.6 mm nozzle and a layer thickness of 0.28 mm.

Vertical printing, steps upwards, with no great difficulty, since the design has been studied to dispense with supports at all levels.

Nozzle : 0.4 or 0.6 mm
Quality : ~0.15 to ~0.30mm
Filling : 100 % or number of walls adapted to wall thickness
Supports: no
Border : not necessary in absolute terms, but the strainer is high and I recommend using an edge.

PETG, ABS, ASA, Nylon : This strainer can be used to extract other liquids (fuel, drinking water, etc.), and all you need to do is use the right material for the right purpose (e.g. material certified for food contact).
