3D Module for a High-Capacity Wasp Trap

Description

3D-printable module for building a multi-entry wasp trap using a 5-liter container, designed to capture large numbers of wasps.

Features and Installation Tips / Advice
– Module diameter: 50 mm
– Height: 30 mm
– Best placed on a suspended 5-liter jug to create a barrier trap with 2 or 4 entrances.
– Apply after cutting a circle with a minimum diameter of 37 mm out of the plastic using a utility knife. Due to the heat, we recommend using a two-component adhesive, such as epoxy.
– The scent from such a large amount of bait is released through the vents on the modules positioned on either side of the trap
– Traps wasps, large flies, and small Asian hornets (young workers). Does not trap or release other insects. Does not trap European hornets or Vespa velutina founding queens.
– Don't trap bees: bait designed for wasps won't attract bees!
– Designed for FDM 3D printing; prints easily without support structures
