PETG Plastic Screw – End of Testing

I have designed a line of 40- and 60-mm flat-head lag screws for 3D printing, intended for assembling XPS polystyrene panels together or for securely fastening XPS to wood. These screws provide a solution not currently available on the market for any DIY project using this material, including beekeeping (small hives, winter insulation boxes, insulating partitions, etc.), aquaculture, and ponds (improving the bonding of panels for tanks and filter boxes, insulating covers, fish tank repairs, etc.)…

We’re finishing up the construction of a 30-mm-thick XPS hive and the creation and repair of insulating partitions and frame covers. We’re already impressed by how easy the screws are to use and by how sturdy the structure is—all without glue!
