Reducing hose barb for hose diameters Ø 38 mm / Ø 32 mm

The ApiObi adapter sleeve is designed for repairing, joining suction and discharge hoses of 2 different diameters

Design: the profile has been specially designed to allow unsupported vertical printing, for sturdiness and ease of manufacture.

 

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

Preferably printed in PETG, durable, lightweight and highly resistant, particularly suitable for accessories and tools in contact with liquids, both indoors and out.
The fitting shown in the photos was printed in PETG, with a 0.6 mm nozzle and a 0.25 mm layer thickness.

The design has been optimized for unsupported vertical printing.

Recommended parameters :

  • Orientation: vertical, diameter 38mm against the plate
  • Plateau grip : essential edge
  • Material : PETG recommended
    • Alternatives : ABS, ASA, Nylon
  • Filling : 100 %

PETG, ABS, ASA, Nylon : This fitting can be used for other liquids (fuel, drinking water, etc.) and you just need to use the right material for the right purpose (e.g. certified material for food contact).
