✅ Always take the time to measure the center-to-center distance of holes already drilled on your motorhome to ensure a perfect fit.

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

🛠️ Recommended settings for 3D printing
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Layer height: 0.12-0.20 mm (0.2 mm works perfectly, as shown in the photos)
- Print flat
- Filling: Minimum 30 % with 4 walls; 100 % recommended for maximum strength (see note below).
- Filament : PETG recommended; ABS, ASA or Nylon if possible
- Supports : No
- Scale: Do not apply scaling factor - part is functional as designed

⚠️ Why we recommend filling to 100 %
- Maximum mechanical strength: The part must withstand the repeated pressures and impacts of opening and closing motorhome or boat doors.
- Long-term durability: Motorhome parts are subject to vibration, temperature variations and humidity. Complete filling prevents cracks and deformation.
- Functionality similar to the original: The original compact doorstops are dense and solid. Printing at 100 % guarantees identical behavior.
- Preventing breakage: Even with solid filaments such as PETG, ABS or ASA, low fill can cause failure under stress.
In a nutshell: a 100% % filling guarantees a solid, durable and functional door stop, capable of withstanding all the stresses of recreational vehicles.

⚡ Save time and frustration
- This is a technical part, not a decorative object. Save your PLA for trinkets 😉.
- PLA will not withstand the intensive conditions of a camper van. Its use can lead to rapid breakage and frustration.
- Use the strongest filament available and consider full filling for optimum performance.
