Description

The flat, 3D-printable entrance door is an essential accessory for replacing and preventing hornets (Vespa velutina and European hornet) from entering your nucs.

Our sturdy, durable design is based on the classic reversible doors (passage/transhumance) of your 6-frame hives.
Thickness : 3 mm (idem Nicot)
Length : 250 mm
Height : 40 mm
Bee traffic height :  passage limited to 5.5 mm

Print this door as often as you like, and adapt its color to your own or to your apiary's colors.

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

Orientation: flat, diagonal
Support : no
Materials: PETG, ABS, ASA - no PLA, of course. Materials certified for food contact if you wish, since 3D printing offers this incomparable advantage.
Personally, I print in PETG certified for food contact.
