Technical Tips for 3D Printing
Material : The TPU is the ideal choice: the softer, the better. Flexible, durable and pleasant to the touch, it fits perfectly between the toes.
🔧 Recommended print settings
Infill : ≤ 15 % This ensures good flexibility while maintaining the overall shape of the spacer.
Supports: No support required. The template is designed to print cleanly without additional structure.
Plateau grip :
- Make sure the first coats adhere well.
- You can use :
- A thin layer of glue stick
- Lacquer
- Painter's tape
This helps prevent the onset of warping.
🧵 Shrinkage
- Minimal shrinkage.
Since TPU is flexible, too much retraction increases stringing and the risk of jamming.
📏 Scaling
- Adjust the scale factor to adapt the spreader to your morphology.
💡 Pro tip
- TPU is elastic: avoid bending or stretching the part immediately after printing.
Allow to cool completely to retain its optimum shape.
