Description

At Apiobi, we love combining different materials to create unique and highly effective products. We call this 3D FUSION!
Take this fly swatter 🪰, for example, which combines TPU filament with an inexpensive, sturdy, and flexible everyday item: 4-mm-diameter plant stakes made of bamboo or wood.

The ones I use are 40 cm long, and a pack of 50 costs less than one euro.

A handle completes the set.

The whole thing can be assembled with or without glue.

I've been using this fly swatter model since the beginning of summer 2024: neither the handle nor the TPU grid has shown any signs of damage.

🪰 🦟Only flies, mosquitoes, and wasps aren't thrilled with this durable, inexpensive, and—above all—effective model

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

I've run numerous tests, and I'm going to save you time, money, and a lot of frustration!
Fly swatter nets 3D-printed with PETG, PLA, PLA+, or ABS filaments would sometimes break—or even shatter—on the very first use.

👉 Use only TPU filament!

Easy Printing
No supports Handle: Preferably PETG or TPU—otherwise, ABS or PLA+.
