Description
Set of 2 3D-printable straight connectors for joining 2020 aluminum or 3D-printed profiles
This type of connector is absolutely essential when you need to build, extend and reinforce profile structures - such as our open PC case - and the length of printable 2020 profiles exceeds your printer's capacity.
The ApiObi straight connector is available in two ultra-rigid thicknesses, 5mm and 9mm, designed for use with a 10 mm M4 screw. The digital download contains these 2 models for the price indicated!
Dimensions
- Length : 100 mm
- Width : 9.8 mm
- Heights : 5 mm and 9 mm
- Number of fixing points: 4
- Threads: M4
Tolerances (including threads) have been specially adjusted for 3D printing, including PETG.
Tip: screw it in once unloaded, before final assembly.
A new design for real compatibility
The entire model has been completely redesigned to guarantee tested compatibility, functional, and usable in real-life situations, after 3D printing.
Copying the dimensions of a metal connector is easy... but it's not. does not guarantee ‘printability’ or mechanical compatibility once 3D printed.
Technical Tips for 3D Printing
Printing recommendations
- Infill : 100 %
- Filament : PETG recommended; ABS or ASA depending on use
- Use the filament as rigid as possible
- Print it with the precision of a jewel and quite solid...to carry an elephant! 😉
