Description

Not all of my fishing rods have a built-in lure holder. I've tried many different systems: ones with rubber bands, O-rings, Velcro strips, as well as homemade and store-bought models. None of them are perfect; they are all fragile and do not hold up well to the rigors of itinerant fishing.

So I decided to design a model that meets several criteria:

1. It must not move, fall, or get lost; ;
2. It must not damage the rod, and the hook must not scratch the varnish; ;
3. It should be compact, unobtrusive, and, above all, should not interfere with the line when casting; ;
4. Finally, the ring must be wide and sturdy enough to accommodate a single hook or the treble hook on a large pike lure, for example.
   

It's done! To secure it firmly to the pole, use a 100 x 2.5 mm clamp.
