Leading brands of fishing equipment have no hesitation in manufacturing accessories molded in rigid or more flexible plastics, even soft ones, to fit or adapt perfectly to the shape of the rod.
Thanks to 3D printing, equivalent results can be achieved with ABS, TPU, nylon or PETG which I personally prefer and recommend for most of your OUTDOOR equipment.

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

Filling to 100 % mandatory for the thread and at least 5 mm above, otherwise I really recommend filling to 100 % everywhere.
Layer thickness of 0.12 mm for greater thread accuracy and near-perfect rod glide. As you can see from the photo, 0.2 mm is also perfect.
PETG preferred, ABS, ASA, NYLON.
