After the large Lotus model, here comes the Medium designed by apiobi - the independent reference platform dedicated to 3D printing models for fishing.
This versatile model, inspired by a tulip design, adapts to a wide range of rod heel diameters.

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

Printing recommendations - Achieve optimum performance

Infill: 100 % - guarantees maximum strength and stability for the rod holder.

Layer height: 0.12 mm for optimum precision, especially at the thread, and for near-perfect rod glide. The 0.16 mm also works very well, as shown in the photos.

Materials: PETG recommended for its durability and smooth finish. ABS, ASA or Nylon are also compatible, depending on your preferences.

I use several 3D printers, but all the models shown in the GIFs and photos (printed directly from the STL files you'll download) were deliberately prototyped/tested on an original Ender 3 Pro, simply equipped with a BLTouch and a PEI plate. This choice shows that my :

✅ Work perfectly on most FDM printers, without requiring the latest high-end machines

If printing is excellent on an Ender 3, you can be sure that it will be excellent on your printer too.
