Description

After the 2.9mm model, here's a second jumper model to protect your elastic bands up to and including 4mm when folding your kit.

  • Long legs for perfect fit.
  • Deep groove design. It provides good protection for the elastic.
  • Even a 4mm rubber band won't extend beyond the rider.
  • The 2 sections of the kit make flat contact at the center of the clip, which ensures good contact.

Technical Tips for 3D Printing

Prints flat on PETG, ABS or even better, TPU backing. Better to keep PLA for printing odds and ends...
Filling 100%
Personally, I print in PETG for its strength and flexibility, but also for its relative memory effect.
The only problem with TPU is that after removal, the backing leaves a residue in the rider groove that is difficult to remove.

The only difficulty with this print lies essentially in balancing the parameters of the substrate, which must be dense enough to ensure good quality but at the same time easy to remove to obtain the smoothest possible groove without too much post print work. Not too complicated!
